Just returned from our first visit to Sidari and it was great. Anyone wanting to try a hotel slightly outside of town away from the noise of the bars then check out www.corfuandromeda.gr. Fantastic. Owner and staff brilliant and it is only a 20 min walk into town or to sunset beach. I would recommend Mikeys Inn which is located on the main street. We took the kids in there for lunch one day and went back for a second visit. Also would receomend Three Little Pigs. Went one evning after reading reviews about it and to our suprise we got entertainment with fire and smashing plates all thrown in. Lovely evening. From The Three Little Pigs, from the main entrance go up the road towards f*gins bar but keep going. The road takes you out of town. You are looking for a taverna called the Orchard. Lovely place. Would recomend Sidari, (not the beach) to all and we lookfoward to going back. ;D

There is a guy named 'Dimitri' who works at the petrakis apartments in Sidari Corfu. I was visiting Sidari a few years ago when I came on a 'Graduation celebration hol' with few of my girly mates, but have always remembered Sidari because of this man - what can I say he made my holiday so memorable I have never forgot it (or him) for that matter! And I am asking kindly now (take a look at the pics on Sidari people, he is the one wearing the grey T-shirt) If anyone could forward me email or contact and get him to contact me I would be the most greatfull and apreciative of it! And Dimitri if you ever read this - please reply and get in contact because I would be well happy to hear form you and catch up! you can email me at the following email address (or tell him to) sarabrundevil@yahoo.co.uk P.s I am sure a lot of people who have ever visited these apartments agree that he is a fantastic person and real freindly guy who just gets on with every person that gets the chance to meet him! ;D

If you're staying down that end - head over the little footbridge (can't miss it), and there is a little place called the 'Shipwreck' - good food & friendly people. Once up the top of that road - you are in the main part of Sidari - so plenty of choices!!
