If you already have been to Sidari, would you go back again?

I went to Sidari for a week mid September and I loved it. The people are all so friendly. I would definitely consider going back, but perhaps not in September.

Oh YES!!Though looking at this site it has certainly changed since I went MANY years ago. I would love to go back just to see the changes...although I was amazed to see Andreas still runs the boats, he would share a octopus lunch with us!! I would shop at the little bakery and at George and Andoula's.....simple happy times. Yvonne

Just back from Sidari a week. This is our 11th visit in 15 years and we would still go back. Best tavernas - Romanas behind the church (we have known the owners for 15 years and they even gave my daughter a birthday cake this year). The Family Restaurant run by Marcos and his wife out on the Peroulades road not far past the Alkion Hotel - Greek roast potatos to die for. We stayed at Takis Apartments and Effie and Takis invited us to drink their wine and have a mezze - Effie makes her own feta cheese - wonderful. Kostas on the main beach who does the pedalos and Kiki his wife we have also known for years and they invited us to their house for mezze and ouzo. We go back for the people but know the resort so well it is our comfort zone. Don't miss Phillip from Vlasseros Travel who remembers us every time we return. He does the best trips much cheaper than the Tour Operators. We went horseriding through the olive groves at Roda this year - spectacular (if a bit sore!) Stacks to do in Sidari. Learn to speak a bit of Greek and they will love you. We learned to say Ime avragos when our bill was brought to us. This means "I have no money". Hilarious. Also when you ask for the bill say "emezos" which means AT ONCE. They just don't expect you to know these things and love you for it.
